A candidate placed in this position will be a technical leader in the Networking and Connectivity Solutions Validation Team, focused on bringing advanced connectivity devices to market, including Ethernet switches, USB 3.2 hubs, PCI-Express devices and switches, Automotive Ethernet PHY’s, and other connectivity interfaces in excess of 25Gbps.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities Include<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead development, ownership, and execution of validation strategies and test plans aligned with product requirements, technical risk, customer impact, program schedules, and market needs</li><li>Perform and lead lab‑based validation, including design bring‑up, characterization, and interoperability testing for high‑speed connectivity devices</li><li>Review, analyze, and clearly communicate validation results, debug findings, and recommendations to project and management stakeholders</li><li>Specify and design test environments including software, lab equipment, and test board requirements</li><li>Serve as a cross‑functional validation interface, collaborating closely with Design, Verification, Applications, Marketing and Product Engineering teams</li><li>Responsible for leading cross‑functional debug and root‑cause discussions along with owning and driving JIRA‑based debug workflows</li><li>Support customer issue reproduction and escalations by collaborating with Applications and Field Engineering teams</li><li>Mentor junior validation engineers</li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement of validation processes, metrics, and best practices<br><br></li></ul><strong>Requirements/Qualifications<br><br></strong>Job Requirements:<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.</li><li>Experience leading teams of 5 or more direct reports.</li><li>12+ Years combined experience in one or more of the following:</li><ul><li>High-Speed Digital design/testing</li><li>Analog/Mixed-Signal design/testing</li><li>Systems design/testing</li><li>Power IC Design and/or Test</li></ul><li>Prior experience driving cross functional teams and projects</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Strong organization skills and the ability to develop hardware design specification based on input from multiple stakeholders and specifications.</li><li>Strong working knowledge of Electronics Lab equipment, e.g., Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Protocol Analyzer (any protocol)</li><li>Must be self-motivated and able to work in collaborative group environment or independently. <br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Understanding of, and experience with, high‑speed connectivity protocols, including, Ethernet, USB (USB 2.0 / USB 3.x), or PCI‑Express</li><li>Experience reviewing schematics and layouts for silicon validation or reference boards</li><li>Python‑based automation for validation, data analysis, or lab equipment control</li><li>Exposure to IC device characterization and silicon performance analysis<br><br></li></ul><strong>Travel Time<br><br></strong>0% - 25%<br><br><strong>Physical Attributes<br><br></strong>Feeling, Hearing, Seeing, Talking, Works Alone, Works Around Others<br><br><strong>Physical Requirements<br><br></strong>80% Sitting, 10% Walking, 10% Standing<br><br><strong>Pay Range<br><br></strong>We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.
