Construction Onsite Superintendent - TX BOOST

Superintendent responsibilities include managing commercial renovation projects, providing support to our site foreman and employees, setting up sub-contractors, and assisting in daily office needs and activities. The ideal candidate should have project management and construction experience, interior finish experience, the ability to work without direct supervision, excellent oral and written communication skills, and be able to organize their work using MS Office tools. This position requires night and weekend work.<br><br><strong>Duties And Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Taking multiple simultaneous projects from conception to completion</li><ul><li>Construction Site Surveys</li><li>Budgeting and Proposals</li><li>Client Negotiations</li><li>Subcontractor onboarding and management</li><li>Project Scheduling</li><li>Project Close-out</li></ul><li>Tasks include but not limited to:</li><ul><li>Determine and define scope of work and deliverables</li><li>Forecast resources needed to complete project</li><li>Provide direct support and supervision of the Site Foreman</li><li>Obtain necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisites</li><li>Draft and submit budget based on scope of work and resource requirements</li><li>Manage costs to meet budget</li><li>Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts</li><li>Manage construction schedule and activities with Site Foreman</li><li>Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines</li><li>Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes</li><li>Site inspections to verify the work meets Cennox quality standards</li><li>Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships</li><li>Coordinate efforts for assigned sites between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors</li><li>Materials ordering and management</li><li>Staff scheduling and management</li><li>Invoicing</li><li>Client escalations</li><li>All other duties as assigned<br></li></ul></ul><strong>Job Requirements<br><br></strong><ul><li>Construction Management experience (5 years minimum) </li><li>Commercial Interior project experience</li><ul><li>Wall finishes</li><li>Painting</li><li>Flooring</li><li>Millwork</li><li>Electrical</li><li>Saw cuts</li></ul><li>Proficient reading and understanding blueprints and drawings</li><li>Reliable transportation and flexible work hours as all site work is completed after hours and on weekends</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent.
