Corporate Vice President, Advanced Planning Consultant

In this role, you will support and enable our agents by delivering expertise, training, and premium finance solutions that drive growth, production, and long-term success across the enterprise. Role Overview The Advanced Planning Consultant (APC) is responsible for achieving and exceeding $25K+ in premium sales nationwide by partnering closely with New York Life’s agents and advisors. This role drives large-case production through advanced sales strategies, estate planning, and premium finance solutions by delivering targeted agent engagement, hands-on client-facing support, and comprehensive training for agents and field leadership. What You’ll Do * Drive life insurance case production by working directly with New York Life’s agents and targeted top producers * Own and exceed $25k+ premium case goals through proactive sales leadership, pipeline management, and strategic agent partnerships * Build and maintain strong relationships with top agents, GO Management, and General Office leadership * Provide advanced case development, product design, and technical support for individual and business planning needs involving premium finance * Run and support client seminars, client meetings, and high-impact sales presentations focused on premium finance strategies * Deliver agent training and GO Management training on premium finance concepts, case positioning, product solutions, and sales best practices * Introduce and educate agents and field management on new products, enhancements, underwriting considerations, and premium finance strategies * Deliver compelling presentations to agents, management teams, and clients in both virtual and in-person settings * Collaborate closely with General Office consultants and leadership to align premium finance strategies, production goals, and field execution * Support the field through individual agent consultations, group training sessions, and in-market engagement What You’ll Bring * JD preferred but not required * Minimum of 5 years of life insurance wholesaling experience * Extensive advanced knowledge of life insurance, premium finance strategies, sales processes, and investment product dynamics * Proven ability to work independently while driving results in a fast-paced, goal-oriented sales environment * Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with senior agents and leadership * Industry designations such as CFP®, CLU®, or ChFC® highly desirable * Life insurance license and FINRA registrations: Series 6 or 7, Series 63, and Series 65 or 66 * Willingness to travel frequently (typically ~50%, with potential for up to 100% based on business needs) Pay Transparency Salary Range: 140,000 - 200,000 Overtime eligible: Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible: No Sales bonus eligible: Yes Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
