Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.</p><p></p><p>Raytheon is hiring a Third-Party Logistics Lead to support the Third-Party Logistics operated Receiving, Inspection, Warehousing, and Kitting processes in a new 450,000+ sq ft facility located in Marana, AZ.  The Marana facility supports the Raytheon factory located in Tucson, AZ.   </p><p></p><p>The ideal candidate will collaborate with Third-Party Logistics Supplier to ensure Raytheon Logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) meet or exceed established requirements. The candidate will work closely with Raytheon factory representatives to ensure support is in alignment with contractually stated expectations. The candidate will collaborate with all relevant parties to identify improvement opportunities, reduce waste, ensure safety standards are being met, and support key strategic initiatives.</p><p></p><p>In addition to operational expertise, the ideal candidate will possess supplier contracting experience, including, but not limited to, developing a Statement of Work (SOW), monitoring for compliance, negotiating, leading Quarterly Business Reviews, and monitoring financial risks and impacts. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong leadership characteristics and can shift frequently between strategic and tactical tasks. Candidate must demonstrate ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including, but not limited to, touch labor employees, supervisors, management, and senior leadership, both from a Third-Party Logistics and Raytheon perspective. </p><p></p><p>Candidate will monitor and approve invoices and support the review of financial budgets.  Candidate will participate/lead operational reviews with the Third-Party Logistics to monitor performance and hold Third-Party Logistics accountable for appropriate resolution.   </p><p></p><p><b>What You Will Do</b></p><ul><li><p>Drive key strategic initiatives</p></li><li><p>Help develop world class warehousing and logistics services</p></li><li><p>Communicate and collaborate effectively with key business partners</p></li><li><p>Assist 3PL on operation planning and cost reductions</p></li><li><p>Serve as liaison between Raytheon factory and 3PL operations</p></li><li><p>Monitor 3PL Key Performance Indicators and drive root cause and corrective action for improved 3PL performance</p></li><li><p>Monitor financial budgets and have oversight of invoicing</p></li><li><p>Ensure 3PL compliance with Statement of Work, work instructions, and all Raytheon requirements and standards.</p></li><li><p>On limited basis, will need to have the ability to travel.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Qualifications You Must Have </b></p><ul><li><p>Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum eight (8) years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum five (5) years' experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience with either Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory, or Operations. </p></li><li><p>Experience in leading teams.</p></li><li><p>The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
