Sr. IT Project Manager

Hill International is seeking a Sr IT Project Manager in Salt Lake City, Utah

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-level IT projects, from ERP upgrades to cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Oversee the implementation of construction-specific technologies such as BIM platforms, Procore, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and field teams to ensure technology solutions meet real-world construction needs.
  • Manage Service contracts and provide recommendations for service providers
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of software and hardware solutions.
  • Coordinate the installation, Operation, and Maintenance of airport FIDS, EVIDS, AODB and Common Use and other airport technology systems
  • Develop and maintain project roadmaps, budgets, and risk management plans.
  • Champion change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new systems across the organization.
  • Mentor junior project managers and contribute to building a high-performing IT PMO.
  • 7+ years of IT project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role at a large airport with project budget of $500M or more.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, technology or related discipline or demonstrated equivalent combination of education, certification, training, skills, knowledge, abilities and aviation experience
  • Candidates must have a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive U.S. Aviation experience implementing technology and special systems solutions for major airport capital improvement programs with a complex IT Program, have extensive technical Systems Integration expertise, and have a demonstrated track record in successfully delivering integrated technology solutions for capital improvement programs.
  • Experience with, and understanding of LEED gold certification requirements, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) rules and guidelines is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of construction technology tools (e.g., BIM, Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6).
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) and tools like MS Project or Jira.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.
