At BB Nash, you’ll have the opportunity to play a key role in strengthening our supply chain and logistics capabilities during an exciting phase of expansion.<br><br>Role Summary<br><br>The Logistics Planner supports the operational performance of our Nashville manufacturing facility by managing the flow of raw materials and finished goods across inbound logistics, inventory control, and outbound distribution. This role ensures materials arrive on time to support production and finished goods ship accurately to customers and distribution partners.<br><br>This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating logistics execution, and ensuring operational data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 reflects real-time plant activity. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across production, warehouse, procurement, and supply chain teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.<br><br>Core Responsibilities<br><br><strong>Logistics Coordinator: Ensure reliable inbound and outbound shipment execution.<br><br></strong><ul><li>Coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials and packaging to meet production schedules.</li><li>Monitor supplier deliveries and proactively address transportation delays or disruptions.</li><li>Partner with Production and Supply Planning to prioritize receipts based on manufacturing needs.</li><li>Coordinate outbound shipments of finished goods to warehouses, distributors, and customers.</li><li>Work closely with freight carriers and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery.</li><li>Manage shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), freight records, and shipment confirmations.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Inventory Control Owner: Maintain accurate inventory and traceability.<br><br></strong><ul><li>Maintain accurate raw material and finished goods inventory records within the ERP system.</li><li>Execute inventory transactions including receipts, adjustments, and stock transfers.</li><li>Ensure proper lot tracking and traceability to support quality and regulatory requirements.</li><li>Investigate inventory discrepancies and partner with warehouse and finance teams to resolve variances.</li><li>Support cycle counts, inventory audits, and reconciliation processes.<br><br></li></ul><strong>ERP & Data Integrity Partner: Ensure accurate system transactions and reporting.<br><br></strong><ul><li>Execute logistics and inventory transactions within Microsoft Dynamics 365.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate system updates for receipts, shipments, and inventory movements.</li><li>Generate and analyze logistics and inventory performance reports.</li><li>Identify opportunities to improve system accuracy, reporting visibility, and process efficiency.</li><li>Support continuous improvement of ERP workflows tied to supply chain operations.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner: Support alignment across operations and planning.<br><br></strong><ul><li>Serve as a liaison between Plant Operations, Supply Planning, Procurement, Sales, and Finance.</li><li>Participate in production and logistics planning meetings to align material availability and shipping priorities.</li><li>Communicate shipment schedules, risks, and inventory updates to internal stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate with global headquarters and cross-regional teams when required.</li><li>Support new product launches, co-pack initiatives, and peak shipping periods.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications & Experience<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred.</li><li>1–3 years of experience in logistics, manufacturing coordination, or supply chain operations.</li><li>Experience working in a manufacturing or plant-based environment preferred.</li><li>ERP experience required; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience strongly preferred.</li><li>Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze operational data.</li><li>Working knowledge of inventory control, transportation coordination, and warehouse operations.<br><br></li></ul>What It Takes to Succeed<br><br><ul><li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</li><li>Attention to detail that ensures accurate inventory transactions and shipment execution.</li><li>Ability to proactively identify logistics risks and resolve issues before they impact production or customers.</li><li>Confidence working within ERP systems to manage operational data and reporting.</li><li>Clear communication skills to collaborate across operations, supply chain, and external partners.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and operational discipline.<br><br></li></ul>How to Apply<br><br>If you are interested in joining our team, we encourage you to apply.
