The Systems Administrator is a full time, onsite position that provides high quality IT customer service, technical support, and troubleshooting within a Microsoft Windows network environment, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issues. This position will maintain organized workflows, manage multiple priorities effectively, and will work independently with minimal supervision. Communicates clearly and professionally with users and team members while supporting daily IT operations and system functionality. Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a continued passion for IT, security, and user support services.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide high quality end-user support for Windows devices.
Install, remove, update, support, and troubleshoot desktop and network hardware, operating systems, and software issues.
Serves as the ISSM and the primary cybersecurity leader responsible for maintaining the operational security posture and authorization of classified and unclassified information systems.
Administer Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure accounts and services.
Perform basic network administration tasks such as management of servers, routers, WiFi hardware, and firewalls.
Monitor security and event logs, investigate events, and escalate to the security team as needed.
Manage backup and disaster recovery operations.
Create and maintain procedures and documentation for internal use.
Support operating system and hardware upgrades, network expansion, and deployment of end-user applications.
Manage hardware and software inventory.
Provide Information Technology Help Desk functions.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years’ experience working in an IT role successfully supporting a combination of software, hardware, network and security responsibilities.
Provide onsite IT support and troubleshooting for customer events, office events, and internal meetings, including conference room technology, audio/video systems, presentation equipment, and connectivity issues. This position is an in-office position at the Falls Church, Virginia office Monday through Thursday, and Friday as needed based on company or customer demands.
Excellent customer service skills and provide high quality end-user support for Windows devices.
Expert level experience with Office 365, especially with Outlook and Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive interconnectivity. Hybrid and GCC High experience a plus.
Proficiency in Linux GUI/CLI (Ubuntu Desktop/Server 16.04-20.04).
Proficiency in LAN networking (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, static/BGP routing, Ethernet, enterprise Wi-Fi, PoE) Enterprise backup systems.
Experience in Diagnostic Tools and Techniques.
Experience with managing end-user and IT Administrator documentation.
Expert in troubleshooting hardware issues that may involve repair, replacement, or third-party warranties and support.
Experience with ticket system administration experience (triage, prioritization, escalation, log troubleshooting updates).
Experience with end-user hardware and software set-up and support to include, but not limited to, Audio Visual equipment, PC, VoIP.
Demonstrated critical thinking when troubleshooting.
Methodical and accurate when following IT documentation.
Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

Security+, Network+ certifications preferred.
An active Secret National Security Clearance.
Active-duty military experience.
Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Comfortable working on-site in a professional office setting.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Ability to travel to support security/organizational needs.
Clearance Requirements

Some positions will require access to U.S. National Security information. Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL). In order to qualify for this position, the candidate must be a US Citizen and either currently possess this National Security eligibility or be able to complete the investigation application process with a favorable determination and maintain that eligibility throughout their employment.

The pay range for this role is: 90,000 - 120,000 USD per year (Falls Church, VA)
