In this fully remote role, you'll deliver high-quality, patient-centered, virtual-first primary care to patients across the United States through video visits, live chat, and secure messaging — all supported by Curai's advanced AI-powered clinical technology and proprietary electronic medical records (EMR) system. If you're a physician who's passionate about expanding access to care and excited about practicing at the intersection of medicine and technology, we'd love to hear from you.</div> <div> </div><p><br></p><b>What You'll Do</b><div> <div style="list-style-type: revert;"> <p>In this role, you'll dedicate at least 36 patient contact hours per week to providing high-quality, empathetic treatment to primary care patients in a virtual care setting — including text-based, phone, and video visits. Your clinical accountabilities will include but are not limited to:</p> <ul> <li>Conducting comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients across various ages and backgrounds</li> <li>Managing and coordinating care for chronic conditions</li> <li>Providing preventive care, wellness counseling, and health education to promote holistic well-being</li> <li>Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and lab results</li> <li>Prescribing medications in accordance with state and federal regulations</li> <li>Handling referrals and prior authorizations</li> <li>Managing scheduling and follow-up outreach</li> <li>Completing administrative tasks including but not limited to: <ul> <li>Accurately and thoroughly documenting tasks and communications in the electronic medical record (EMR)</li> <li>Completing compliance, CME, and licensing tasks in a timely manner</li> <li>Maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge and processes, including EMR platform updates, through meetings, trainings, or other means</li> <li>Participating in clinical quality and process improvement initiatives</li> </ul> </li> <li>Meeting or exceeding established performance standards related to patient satisfaction, encounter documentation, response time, clinical quality metrics, and productivity benchmarks as defined by organizational goals</li> <li>Serving as a collaborating physician for assigned Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight, chart review, care consultation, and mentorship consistent with applicable state laws and internal collaboration agreements, including video visits as needed</li> <li>Maintaining compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards</li> <li>Taking on other duties as assigned</li> </ul> </div> </div><p><br></p><b>What You'll Bring</b><div> <ul> <li>An MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school</li> <li>A current, unrestricted license to practice medicine with active board certification; Family Medicine strongly preferred</li> <li>At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency; telehealth experience strongly preferred</li> <li>Active medical licenses in at least one of the following states: CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses</li> <li>Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states is strongly preferred</li> <li>Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed</li> <li>Availability to work weekends and assigned holidays as part of your regular schedule</li> <li>A solid understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements related to physician collaboration and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers</li> <li>The ability to work independently while managing a high volume of patient interactions through video and chat</li> <li>Comfort navigating telehealth platforms and EMR systems, with adaptability to evolving technology including AI-driven tools and digital platforms</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage your time effectively in a remote work environment; reliable high-speed internet access is required</li> <li>Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient engagement skills</li> <li>Willingness to be part of a group medical practice</li> <li>A growth and learning mindset</li> </ul> </div><p><br></p><b>What We Offer</b><div><strong>Compensation: </strong>$240,000 - $245,000</div> <div> </div> <div>The pay range listed for this position reflects what Curai Health reasonably and in good faith expects to pay at the time of posting.
